I have drifted in and out of golf multiple times, from playing in Scotland as a kid, to a brief time in Edinbrgh and then several years in Roseville area. I always intended to come back to it once retired, when I have time to enjoy it. I joined the 9 Holers in 2018 and have met many good friends in the club and in Tahoe Donner since then.  

I love the outdoors! Which brought me to adding golf into my summer activity schedule here in Tahoe Donner. I have been in Tahoe Donner for 15+ years, and enjoy all the amenities offered, plus all the activities available to us here in the mountains. Golf is a challenging sport, yet just look around while you are playing and see all the beauty around you. I joined the 9-Holers to reacquaint myself with golf a few years ago, and loved the members and their relaxed and fun attitude. I truly enjoy the Thursday morning golf, plus the afternoon play dates. Lets get out there and play!

Many Many years ago I bought a used set of golf clubs.  I thought since my sons played I would learn to play myself.  Well, that didn’t happen then, but when I found the Ladies 9-Holer club I joined (with those old clubs) and started my journey to Par.  Since joining the club I have met some most wonderful ladies, learned the etiquette of golf, improved my technique, and even got my husband to start his journey.
